Tool and Killers are the new headliners for the 2009 edition of Lollapalooza festival (7-9 August, Chicago’s Grant Park). Previously announced headliners are Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode and Jane’s Addiction. Other bands/artist confirmed: Lou Reed, Decemberists, Neko Case and Andrew Bird.

New album of remixes and new video for Bloc Party

Bloc Party will release an album of remixes entitled Intimacy Remixed containing pieces of previous album of 2008, Intimacy, remixed by various DJs and artists, among whom Mogwai, No Age and Filthy Dukes. The album will be published on May 11, preceded by the single Signs on April 27, remixed by Armand Van Helden. Here’s the tracklist for Intimacy Remixed (on brackets the remixer).
